RHS FINAL RESTAURANT EVENING 2026

Energetic, hardworking, hilarious and driven – the Hospitality Management Class of 2026, affectionately known as the Matrics, are a group of young professionals’ worth watching. For their practical examination, the Matrics took on the challenge of hosting an impressive three- course dinner for 53 guests, putting their hospitality, culinary and service skills to the ultimate test.And they delivered. From preparation to service, the evening was a wonderful display of teamwork, professionalism and determination. In fact, the team served their main course in a record-breaking 11 minutes, an incredible achievement that speaks to their preparation, communication and ability to work together under pressure.

But beyond the numbers, it was their energy and enthusiasm that made the evening so special. They reminded us that hospitality is about more than what happens on the plate; it is about people, teamwork, creativity and creating memorable experiences. We are incredibly proud of this remarkable group and inspired by the young professionals they are becoming.

To the Matrics of 2026: congratulations on an outstanding practical exam, and best of luck with the rest of your examinations. Your futures are bright, and we cannot wait to see where your talent, passion and hard work take you.
