FRIED FISH IN SEASONED BATTER

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup self-raising flour
1 Tbls BENNY spice
1 cup soda water
1 lt oil, for deep-frying
4 (1 kg) fish fillets, halved

 

METHOD:

Combine flour with spice. Make a well in the centre. Add soda water and stir to combine.
Heat oil in a large pan. To 190 degrees C.
Dip the fish in the batter till evenly coated. Deep-fry for 3-4 minuets or until golden brown. 

Serve with hot chips and dip.
