CINNABONS CINNAMON ROLLS

DOUGH:
1 pkt yeast
1 cup lukewarm milk
½ cup sugar
1/3 cup butter, softened
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
4 cups flour

FILLING:
1 cup brown sugar
3 Tbls cinnamon
1/3 cup butter, softened

CREAM CHEESE ICING:
6 Tbls butter, softened
1 ½ cups icing sugar
¼ cup cream cheese
½ tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp salt

CINNAMON ROLLS
Dissolve yeast in milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
Add sugar, butter, salt, eggs and flour. Mix until well incorporated.
Pour milk mixture over flour mixture, using a dough hook, mix well.
Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover and leave to rise for an hour.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
Lightly grease baking tray.
Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
Roll out dough (16 x 12 inches wide) ¼ inch thickness.
Spread the 1/3 cup of butter evenly on dough. Sprinkle with sugar.
Roll dough from the long edge to the bottom edge.
Cut the dough into 1 ½ inch slices and place in baking tray. Cover with
kitchen towel and leave to rise for 30 minutes.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
While that’s baking, mix all the icing ingredients together. Beat well
until fluffy and smooth.
When rolls are done, spread generously with icing.
