CABBAGE RELISH

INGREDIENTS: 

3 Tbls oil 

1 onion, chopped 

2 tomatoes 🍅, grated 

2 cups finely chopped cabbage  

1 cup water 

1 can baked beans 

1 can chakalaka  

Salt and pepper  

 

METHOD: 

Sauté onions in oil till soft. 

Add tomatoes. Cook for 2 minutes.  

Add cabbage and water. 

Boil. Lower heat, simmer for 15 minutes, until cabbage is cooked.  

Add chakalaka and beans and adjust seasoning. 

Cook for another 10 minutes.   

Serve warm on steamed rice 🍚
