APPLE PUDDING 

INGREDIENTS:
120 g cake flour
80 g brown sugar
10 ml baking powder
5 ml cinnamon
2 ml salt
125 ml raisins 🍇
2 apples 🍎, cored and peeled
125 ml milk
30 ml butter, melted 

 

SAUCE:
440 ml boiling water
200 g brown sugar
15 ml flour
15 ml butter, softened
10 ml vanilla essence 

 

Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Line a 20 x 20 baking tin.
In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and raisins.
Thinly slice one ½ of the apples. Set aside.
Chop remaining apples 🍎 and add to flour mixture along with milk and butter; mix well.
Spread mixture into cake tin. Arrange slices on top. 

SAUCE:
Whisk water, brown sugar, flour, butter and vanilla. Gently pour over batter.
Bake in oven for 30-40 minutes. 

Serve warm!
